Optical fiber is the core of any cable. CCOFC tests every batch of optical fiber using EXFO OTDR equipment to verify attenuation, length, continuity, and other key parameters. Whether single-mode or multimode, each batch must pass strict testing—no unqualified fiber is ever put into production.

Three-Stage In-Process Inspection: Tube, Stranding, and Cable Formation

CCOFC has established three critical inspection points during production:

• Tube Inspection: Checks the dimensions, appearance, and fiber excess length of the loose tube to ensure consistent tube quality;

• Stranding Inspection: Verifies lay length, stranding direction, and tension to guarantee a uniform and reliable cable core structure;

• Cable Formation Inspection: Examines sheath thickness, outer diameter, and mechanical properties after cabling to ensure the finished cable meets design specifications.

Each stage follows defined inspection criteria and records, making every issue traceable and every responsibility clear.

100% Finished Product Inspection: No Cable Left Untested

CCOFC performs 100% testing on every finished optical fiber cable—not sampling. This means that regardless of order size or batch quantity, every cable must pass a complete test before shipment. Only when all optical, mechanical, and environmental performance indicators meet requirements is a product approved for delivery.
